Spending time with married friends is sometimes difficult
There often seems to be two groups of people in the world. There are those that are married and those that are not. It is almost as if people go through a major change once they get married. They have made a commitment to build their life together. They then want to see all their friends enter into the same type of committed relationship. This often divides even close friends. Not everyone is cut out for marriage.
For those that do not want to get married, spending time with married friends is sometimes difficult. Their friends want to see them in a solid relationship with a future. No longer are casual dates welcomed at group events. Every date is scrutinized as if they will be a lifetime partner. The pressure is on and many single people tend to drop married friends until they have become involved in a serious relationship.
